ABSTRACT

Every brain is a little bit different, and life experiences add the biological foundation for specific attributes, weaknesses and affinities. Children need time and space to explore and exposed to different areas of interest in more minimal ways, so that they’re able to discover what they’re truly passionate about. Giving them the opportunity to pursue these passions, as they discover them, will help them to determine and develop their talents. A quantitative approach using Survey research design. 300 selected parents of primary school going children using Non-Probability Convenient sampling technique in Mehsana city. Self- Structured Knowledge Questionnaire and attitude rating scale (likert scale). The data obtained were analyzed and interpreted in the light of objective using descriptive and inferential statistics.26.33% of sample had poor knowledge score (0-6),60.33% of them had average knowledge score (7- 13) and 13.33% of them had good knowledge score (14-20) regarding After school activity . 22% of parents have negative attitude while 78% have positive attitude towards After school activity. The correlation coefficient was done to assess relation between knowledge and attitude. The findings of study indicate that there was moderate relation between knowledge and attitude regarding after school activity.
