In the study, the researcher adopted the community participation theory for the study. The community stakeholders’ participation was an independent variable while the outcome (success/failure) was the dependent variable. Respondents were sampled from Kabwe urban in four (4) communities (Natuseko, Lukanga, Kamuchanga and Katondo). The study consisted of a total sample of 142 respondents. The sample was selected through purposive and simple random methods. Data was collected using questionnaires and interview guides and analysed with the help of Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) and Microsoft Word (MW).
