ABSTRACT
This paper reviews the contributions of nighttime light remote sensing in monitoring terrorist activities. Night-time light (NTL) remote sensing images have been widely applied in many aspect researches, also insisted to have great potential for monitoring terrorist activities in Nigeria. The study review some applicable validity in monitoring terrorist activities and found it to be possible, despite being some challenges and limitations. Being able to implement such issue of monitoring, would offers the best approach for the mapping possible tracking their activities.
