ABSTRACT
A study to assess the knowledge and practice regarding temporary method of family planning among the eligible couple in a selected community, Murshidabad. The objective of the study- 1: To access the knowledge regarding temporary method of family planning among eligible couple. 2: To assess the practice regarding temporary method of family planning among the eligible couple. 3. To find out the association between knowledge and practice regarding temporary family planning method among the eligible couple with their selected demographic Variables. In this study descriptive Research design is used. In this study 60 eligible couple samples were selected for the study. Nonprobability purposive technique is used. . Level of knowledge and practise among eligible couple are assess about temporary family planning method at village Natun gram under Natun gram, gram panchayet, murshidabad. Reliability of tool is 0.82 that was checked Using Spearman rank correlation coefficient method. Statistical analysis was done by chisqare test and frequency and percentage distribution table to assess the level of knowledge and practice among eligible couple. Practice are assessed about temporary family planning methods. the finding of the study revealed that in regarding level of knowledge and practice among eligible couple about temporary family planning method are we have found there is significant association between source of information with their knowledge level regarding temporary family planning method. among the 60 sample 25% couple have adequate knowledge, 38.34% have moderate knowledge and 36.60% have poor knowledge.
