ABSTRACT
Migraine affects more women than men, and there is a known link between migraine and hormonal changes throughout a woman’s life. Menstruation increases the risk of migraine in susceptible women2. They occur before, during, or immediately after the period. More than half of women with migraine report menstruation (having a period) as a trigger for their migraine attacks.
