ABSTRACT

The Hospital and other health care establishments has a significant role to play to take care the environment and public health and the important responsibility is relation with the waste they produce. The establishments should ensure that no adverse health and environmental impact of the wastage they produce in waste handling, treatment and disposal activities. The prime focus of this paper is to analyze the waste management in the health sector in India and to give suggestion for reducing the environmental damage.
