ABSTRACT
The present study was aimed to assess the knowledge regarding selected learning disabilities in children among school teachers working at selected private schools of district Alwar, Rajasthan with a view to develop an information booklet. The quantitative research approach and descriptive research design was adopted for this study. 60 school teachers were selected by using convenient sampling. Demographic profile was used to assess the personal information of school teachers and self - structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assess knowledge. The study found that school teachers have average level of knowledge regarding selected learning disabilities in children. There is no significant association between knowledge of school teachers regarding selected learning disabilities in children and their selected background variables that is age, gender, marital status, educational qualification, year of experience, previous knowledge regarding selected learning disabilities.
