ABSTRACT
The present study was aimed to Early intervention and support are crucial in managing childhood psychiatric problems, as they can mitigate long-term effects and improve outcomes. However, stigma and lack of awareness can sometimes delay or impede access to appropriate care. It's essential for parents, caregivers, and educators to recognize the signs and seek professional help when needed, fostering a supportive environment for the child to thrive. Nurses possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise in recognizing, assessing, and managing psychiatric problems in childhood. Through their specialized training and experience, nurses are adept at conducting thorough assessments, identifying risk factors, and implementing appropriate interventions to support children with psychiatric issues. They play a crucial role in educating families about mental health conditions, providing emotional support, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. Nurses' dedication to staying updated on the latest research and best practices equips them to effectively address the complex needs of children with psychiatric disorders, ultimately promoting their well-being and resilience.
